Essential Functions The key activities outlined below represent an overview only of the position of CNC Setter/Operator based on site at the Leicester Plant and should not be seen as a prescriptive list of activities. Specific Responsibilities Set, Fault Find & Operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances. In process deburring and Self Inspection To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications. Self-certification of personal work. To prove out downloaded programs so they are in line with the correct timings in accordance with our manufacturing and quality standards and then to up load the proven program. Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times. Responsible for producing SPC charts and records. Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards. Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis. General Company Support Undertake to train on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace, and once fully trained to train others. To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams. Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximise levels of production and quality. Maximise plant and resource utilisation. Qualifications pmEducation, Experience & Background Experience of working within a busy Manufacturing environment. Experience setting CNC Machines preferably DMG/Mori/CMZ/Doosan with fanuc/sieman controls Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
