Our client, one of the UKs top retailers, are looking for a Project Manager with Supply Chain SME knowledge to join them on an initial 6 month contract basis and lead business workstreams.
They are looking for someone who can support a delivery project within Supply Chain under the following umbrella headings:
* Transport
* Warehousing
* KPI's and Measures
* B2B/Convenience
* SDS (Transport)
Experience required:
* Supply Chain SME knowledge
* Retail industry knowledge
* Key Stakeholder Management skills
* Experience working in a fast paced and demanding environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, to budget, and meeting all quality targets.
2. Establishing the project plan baseline, defining project scope and securing the necessary resources and plans for each phase.
3. Managing risks, issues and dependencies. Identifying and removing roadblocks.
4. Driving project execution and managing the change control process, conflicts and escalations.
