As Data Test Manager you will join the Testing department at OSB Group, which currently has c60 staff in the UK and India and you will report into the Deputy Head of Testing as well as manage 6 members of the team. This is a brand new role and will be responsible for the quality delivery of all Data Testing activity, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data across the Group. As Data Test Manager you will combines expert-level technical skills with leadership and people management responsibilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in Data Testing practice, ensuring that all Data Test processes and working practices are carried out in line with the Testing Policy, Change procedures and operating frameworks, identifying areas of opportunity to improve best practices and ways of working. Your responsibilities will include: Lead the design and execution of comprehensive data testing strategies to validate the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data across various systems and databases that are undergoing Change Develop and maintain tailored test plans, cases, and scripts for data validation Delivering Data Test Quality Assurance by implementing processes and methodologies to ensure adherence to data standards and best practices. Identify, document and manage data-related defects using a defect tracking system. Document test plans, results, and reporting, monitoring test metrics and KPI’s for each project and test phase. Work with cross-functional teams to understand data test requirements and create appropriate test approaches to validate data accuracy. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to resolve data issues. We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below: Proven experience as a Data Test Manager/Lead with extensive experience in managing and leading a team of data test analysts Track record of designing and executing data tests, profiling, quality assessment, and validation Strong technical expertise in SQL query writing (SQL tools) and data manipulation from technical requirements Comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks Experience in system integration, regression testing, and user acceptance testing Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) We also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
