Job Description Material Resource Planner and Controller Derby Full time, site based. What you will be doing: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Customer Operations Team in EOS as a Material Resource Planner and Controller (MRPC) supporting MRO, EBU, Campaign, Capability and Network Training lines of activity. This team are responsible for the management of both new and used material and the issuing of material to support the overhaul process for a variety of civil engine applications. The Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) facility is 35,000m2, with circa 650 employees, and operational for 20hrs a day, 365 days a year. As the only wholly owned Large Engine MRO facility, with capability to maintain all modern Trent engines, EOS is fundamental to the future success of Civil Aerospace. As a Material Resource Planner and Controller, you will help drive our strategy to deliver a world class service to Customers and our large engine products and will be part of a diverse and high performing team who take pride in setting the standard in compliance, safety and delivery through a robust production system. Reporting to the Lineside Logistics Operations Manager, you will be an initial point of contact, responsible for managing and coordinating delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the plan, managing the impact and escalate issues as required. It is expected you will be capable of building effective relationships with internal and external repair supply chain, which will be demonstrated through the satisfaction of demand requirements whilst optimising inventory. Responsibilities: To be ERP process and system compliant ensuring data integrity working within ARIS and ERP guidelines Interpret Repair Instructions, TRC Notes and Technical Data Provide expedite service for build shortages Support NPI Raise and release P/O Knowledge of process improvement tools Why Rolls-Royce? Understanding of Supply Chain Management and Internal and External Supply Chain Operations. Great communication skills with confidence to engage with all levels of the business. Knowledge of Trent and XWB engine and module assembly/disassembly techniques advantageous. Excellent organisation skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
