Computer Science Teacher or Cover Supervisor - Swindon
About the Role:
Embark on an exciting journey in technology education at a school we are working with in Swindon! We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Computing Teacher or Cover Supervisor to join a large secondary school in Swindon with excellent facilities! This position is a temporary to permanent starting in February/March 2025. This will be a full-time role, and the pay will be on a daily rate equivalent via PAY starting from £145 - £260 depending on experience and qualifications. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging computing lessons, fostering a passion for technology, and equipping students with essential digital skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Tutor to a year group
2. Covering other general lessons within your timetable
3. Computer Science teaching from years 7-11
Qualifications and Skills:
Relevant teaching qualifications. QTS preferred but not essential if you have proven teaching experience. Strong knowledge of computing concepts, programming languages, and emerging technologies. Effective communication skills to engage and motivate students. A passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
