This school provides help to students with multiple complicated special education needs who have been turned away from mainstream settings.
This school in Hitchin is now seeking a full-time, long-term Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP.
The chosen applicant for this position must have previous LSA experience and be at ease working with students in grades KS1 and KS2. Supporting SEN students one-on-one and in small groups is the responsibility of this position. The current group is enthusiastic, committed, and involved in providing support.

Your responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant include:
* Assist the class teacher in the preparation of lessons and materials
* Provide 1:1 support to students who may need additional help
* Supervise and support students during class activities
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure the overall well-being of students
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Classroom Support Assistant
* Level 3 qualification (desirable)
* A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student development
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
