You will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality service to our clients and you will play a vital role in ensuring the flawless movement and control of materials within our warehouse. The Microbiology Division provides products and workflow solutions for microorganism growth detection, identification and characterization. We serve industries such as food production, clinical and healthcare, pharma, and biotech. Our Dartford branch specializes in providing diagnostic test products for the rapid identification of bacteria and bacterial infections. Working hours: Standard: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (37.5 hours per week). Flexible start time options available. Overtime opportunities offered. Responsibilities: Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health & Safety policies. Efficiently handle the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and products. Accurately pick raw materials for the packing, filling, and lab departments. Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of accuracy in picking, packing, and dispatch. Conduct stock checks and maintain inventory control for both room temperature and cold storage areas. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and take initiative when not directly supervised. Ideal Candidate: Eager to learn and committed to developing skills long-term with our company. Able to follow procedures and guidelines precisely. Prior experience in warehouse or inventory management is helpful, but not required (graduates are welcome). Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Dangerous Goods handling is a plus. Strong reading, math, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and accurately record data. Self-motivated, able to work independently, and share ideas for improvement. Experience with inventory control (cycle counts, reconciliations) is helpful. Familiarity with warehouse systems or willing to learn. Comfortable working alone or in a team, with quick problem-solving skills. Education & Certification: High school diploma or equivalent. Full training provided, including forklift certification and system training. Physical Requirements: Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting materials up to 25kg.
