Technical Trainer (Electrical)
Salary: 42,000 - 48,000 + 33 days holiday + Bonus + Benefits

Are you qualified to NVQ / C&G level 3 in Electrical Engineering? Are you physically fit and able to pass a working at heights fitness test? Do you want to develop your technical skills further, train, learn, and develop a career within the wind turbine sector as a Technical Trainer?
On offer is a Technical Trainer position for a globally recognized and industry-leading wind turbine company. You will undertake training of new engineering staff on all aspects of Wind Turbine Maintenance, H&S, and all technical aspects of wind turbine maintenance.
You will receive all the technical training needed to deliver in this role.
You will be a part of a close-knit training team; using your engineering background and training skills from other sectors, you will learn and technically develop on this company's products, becoming a specialist in every area to then train new and existing staff.
This role would suit a qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer or lead engineer with mentoring experience from a range of engineering backgrounds looking to have dedicated technical OEM training and to have a career with an industry-leading and global Wind Turbine company.
The Role:
1. Technical Training of engineering staff, Train the Trainer, and occasionally engineering subcontractors to become wind turbine technicians.
2. Dedicated on-the-job technical OEM personal training with career goals and development.
3. Site visits to wind farms around the UK, Ireland, and EU.
The Person:
1. Electrically qualified C&G/NVQ level 3 or above ideally with an engineering background.
2. Other engineering/mentoring/training or teaching backgrounds considered: Plant, FLT, Industrial Engineering backgrounds.
3. Looking to join a global WTG company with dedicated OEM training.
4. Flexible to job requirements and visiting sites around the UK and EU.
5. Full UK Driving License and lives in a commutable distance to Rossendale & Greater Manchester or Stirling (Scotland).
