Teaching Personnel are recruiting Year 5 Teachers to work across Primary Schools in the Solihull District for a maternity cover position. The role will start ASAP and continue until the end of the academic year. We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable KS2 teachers who are willing to support Year 5 students academically. As a Year 5 teacher, you will be expected to: Plan creative & engaging lessons and deliver the Year 5 curriculum to the class. Monitor, record, and report the attainment, development, and progress of the students. Work alongside the senior leadership team to raise attainment. Develop and establish a rapport between students, parents, and other staff to build a trusting relationship and a line of communication between the home and school. The ideal candidate will: Hold a QTS Have a DBS registered to the update service Have experience in a Year 5 classroom. Have an understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and end-of-Key Stage 2 expectations. Possess strong leadership and behaviour management skills. Be familiar with safeguarding policies and procedures.
