Job Title: Assistant Network Modeller
Location: Falmer (Hybrid)
Salary: From £40,000
Job Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Network Modeller to join our dynamic team, working on water and/or wastewater projects. This role involves providing technical support and data management to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of network models. You will play a key role in analysing and resolving non-complex design challenges while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Assist in the production of network models through detailed technical analysis.
2. Gather, produce, and review information to support design preparation, including spreadsheets, calculations, and drawings.
3. Conduct site surveys and quality assurance checks.
4. Support the team by preparing reports, resolving technical problems, and attending project meetings.
5. Provide guidance to Graduate Engineers and Technicians working on the same projects.
About You:
1. Understanding of water and wastewater engineering within the UK Water Industry.
2. Essential: MEng/BEng/BSc or HNC in Engineering, Environmental, or a related science subject.
Package:
This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
Southern Water operates a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
