A brand-new opportunity for an experienced Building Control Surveyor (Registered Building Inspector) has been created by a leading Approved Inspector as a result of continued growth of their North West region, to be ideally based anywhere within Greater Manchester or Liverpool (areas can be shifted around to suit).
The Role:
This Building Control Surveyor position has a Domestic focus however for those seeking a variety of workload, the team is currently managing a good number of larger schemes and plenty smaller commercial. You would be based from home, attending sites locally with the option of utilising the nearby office for team meetings/catch ups (although no expectation to attend the office).

Typical Responsibilities:
· Undertaking site visits, preparing site visit reports and dealing with technical queries.
· Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulations approvals.
· Attending client and design team meetings to give professional advice regarding building control work when applicable.
Person Specification:
· Extensive prior experience in the role of Building Control Surveyor (Registered Building Inspector) on different types of projects through the delivery of site inspections and plan checks.
· Level 2A or above RBI (Registered Building Inspector).
· Ideally full or associate Membership of a relevant professional body such as RICS, CABE or CIOB.
· Full UK Driving Licence and use of a car.
