We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Logistics Systems Analyst to join our IT team based inSolihull, West Midlands. Flexible/Hybrid working available. The role is responsible for ensuringeffective delivery of relevant application services by leveraging specialist knowledge. It is also responsible for translatingbusiness requirements into functional specifications and effective, efficient and compliant business solutions. You'll workon business change projects, but also deliversmaller change packages via the enhancement processand providespecialist application and solution support for specific elements of the applications estate. Main Responsibilities In this role you'll: Workas a Subject Matter Expert for logisticsapplications & functional scope on business projects in line with business strategy Quickly graspuser requirements and solution options Ownenhancements & project tasks translating functional requirements into solution design, build, test (co-ordinating UAT) and deployment Workon agreed projects and changeswithin the agreed time limits Buildsolutions that comply right first time by design; possesses basic understanding of GDPR, SOx and GISP Provideexpert second-line support to IT users in line with agreed SLAs Investigateincidents and identifyand mobilisethe resources required to aid resolution andescalateSLA breaches Actas a Subject Matter Expert in the Change Management process Liaise withvendors to support service delivery to agreed SLAs Supportthe incident root cause analysis processand initiateproblem management. Supportcontinuous process improvement Ensurecompliance with Internal Control processes and procedures. The Ideal Candidate To be successful in this role you'll need: To be educated to degree standard or able to demonstrate appropriate significant and relevant experience in a similar role.
