You will provide sales, service and warranty support for diesel generators, UPS systems and specialist automatic vehicle transmissions. Reporting to the Service Operations Manager and Technical Sales Manager, the Warranty Administrator will be responsible for assisting with planning and organising the daily activities of a team of engineers in order to meet customer requirements, ensuring customers are kept informed of updates on work being carried out and supporting the engineering team. You will work alongside other internal departments to ensure that high levels of customer service are delivered and maintained. Outline of Responsibilities Help to resolve any issues that arise regarding customer orders and engineer visits. Process engineer job cards to allow for accurate invoicing. Utilise management systems and MS tools to operate daily activities. Manage customers’ expectations whilst delivering excellent customer service. Liaise with customers, keeping them updated and assist with queries. Process warranty claims and associated administration, including service reports. Provide quotations for planned service, remedial work and parts such as motors/pumps. Liaise with suppliers and ensure correct parts and materials are ordered. Have a flexible approach to daily activities as requirements can change. Experience and skills required You will have previous experience preferably within an engineering/mechanical setting in the service or warranty administration of commercial trucks, automotive industry, plant engineering, agricultural engineering, or other service controller roles in addition to the following; Technical administration within mechanical or engineering field – advantageous Understanding or knowledge of diesel transmissions or generators and parts – advantageous High level of administration and customer service experience Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work IT proficiency – MS Office.
