Job Description
A Public Area Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of public areas to deliver an excellent Guest experience while managing customer issues and undertaking regular deep cleaning tasks.
What will I be doing?
As a Public Area Cleaner, you are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of public areas to deliver an excellent Guest experience. A Public Area Cleaner will also be required to manage customer issues and undertake regular deep cleaning tasks. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Ensure cleanliness of all public areas and Restaurant areas
2. Carry out lost property procedures
3. Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively
4. Manage master keys in his/her possession
5. Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks, e.g. monthly deep cleaning
6. Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department
7. Check public areas and toilets taking remedial action where necessary
8. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
9. Carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotel's management

Working hours are 5pm to 1.30am, 5 days over 7.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
