You will lead procurement, negotiations, and conduct opportunity analysis across different providers. You will build and manage partnerships with Cloud Providers, Data Centers, and ISPs. You will collaborate with key external bare metal providers to develop and accomplish strategies that drive revenue for Unity and build deep and lasting supplier partnerships. You will also work collaboratively with internal team members ranging from Engineering to Technical Account Managers to Support staff, as you enable flawless launches and the ongoing success of Unity's customer base. What you'll be doing - Bare Metal Capacity Planning. Lead standard inventory items and supply chain to schedule material to meet stated inventory objectives. This includes and not limited to: supply chain and capacity management, forecasting to support sales pipeline, day-to-day ordering and cancelling, inventory reports, and supplier invoice reconciliation - Identify, establish, and manage supplier relationships, initiate, quote, and support sales contracts with the goal of acquiring top-of-the-line inventory for the best negotiated price for improved revenue and reduced cost for Unity - Handle the delivery of provisioned servers to clients by infrastructure engineers - Establish and implement project communication plans. Provide status updates to staff and partners, and support finance with the necessary governance to ensure supplier invoice accuracy - Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards and regularly report results What we're looking for - Proven track record in bare metal purchasing with strong knowledge of general PO processes. (Quotes, Orders, Cancellations, Reconciliation etc.) - Solid understanding of Google Suite, Slack, Excel, project management tools such as Trello and Airtable - Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with both external and internal partners including contractors and regulatory agents - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times - Ability to travel to trade shows and supplier meetings (up to 20% domestic and international travel expected) You might also have - Experience in the procurement of server infrastructure in multiple geographies and currencies, especially in the games industry - Experience in supplier performance management - High level technical understanding of server hardware Additional information - Relocation support is not available for this position. - Work visa/immigration sponsorship is not available for this position Life at Unity Unity [NYSE: U] is the world's leading platform of tools for creators to build and grow real-time games, apps, and experiences across multiple platforms.
