Role
The Assistant Sales Support Executive is a key role and will report directly to the Client Services Manager.
Being able to prioritise, time manage, and work independently as well as within a team environment are essential and of key importance.
2CL is a progressive, expanding company and this role is excellent grounding to progress within the sales department of the company, should your skills, performance and attitude prove suitable.
Your duties include but are not limited to:
1. Inbound business development – Answer, deal with, and direct inbound calls appropriately.
2. Preparation & progression of sales quotations — Working with the commercial team to prepare sales quotations for customers and prospects, whilst following up as required to convert enquiries into orders via Sage CRM.
3. Processing sales orders — Following on from the customer accepting the sales quotation, processing the sales orders into the Sales Order Management system - Sage 200 via Sage CRM.
4. Customer care contact incl. opportunity identification — Pursue and manage phone contact with identified customers to inform them on company news and promotions, industry/ sector developments, and product advances, to enhance growth opportunities. Recording all activity on Sage CRM.
5. Ofcom license renewals, amendments, new applications for simple site & Simple UK licenses – Process all applications and amendments as required.
6. Administration — Maintain and update the company CRM system including appointment scheduling, contact data cleansing, exporting/ importing contact listings, and sector analysis for management review, supporting the team with administrative sales support as needed.
7. Report Production — Preparation of weekly and monthly sales reports to management as required.
8. Other – As required by the commercial team.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
1. Experience working in a customer service / sales administration role, in a business-to-business environment – 1 Years+
2. Excellent Communication skills – verbal and written
3. High degree of computer / IT skills – including MS Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
4. CRM database experience preferable (we use Sage)
5. Flexible working approach
6. Pride in work and appearance
7. Good education including English & Maths GCSEs; Business & IT preferable
8. Be highly organised with an ability to manage their time and prioritise effectively
