Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maximizing profitability.
* Lead and manage the entire Food and Beverage team, including restaurants, banquets, mini bar, café, and bar operations
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
* Set departmental targets, objectives, and budgets, and monitor performance against these goals
* Establish and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop effective F&B marketing strategies
* Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall dining experience
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
* Oversee inventory management, cost control, and budget adherence
* Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff to maintain a high-performing team
* Stay current with industry trends and implement innovative concepts to keep the F&B offerings fresh and competitive
* Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
* Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Front Office) to ensure seamless guest service across the property
* Conduct regular food tastings and quality checks to maintain consistency and excellence in culinary offerings
* Implement and oversee sustainability initiatives within the F&B department, focusing on reducing waste and promoting eco-friendly practices
* Manage and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Food & Beverage management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
* Strong background in banquet and event management
* Proven track record of leadership and team management in the hospitality industry
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative management style
* Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, with strong financial acumen
* Proficiency in Opera or similar Property Management Systems (PMS), Micros, and Microsoft Excel
* In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu planning, and cost control
* Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving service excellence
