SEN Teacher (Primary) Area: Northampton Start: April 2025 Contract: Fulltime, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS with SEN allowance A highly reputable Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers (Primary) to join the permanent staff team at one of their well-established schools in Northampton. The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech and Language Difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They will work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs. Use creative and flexible teaching approaches to engage pupils and support their progress. Monitor and assess student development, ensuring that learning outcomes are met. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic progress. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting. A strong understanding of individualised learning approaches and adaptive teaching methods.
