John Sisk & Son Ltd., are delighted to be growing their Engineering Services team with the addition of an experienced Temporary Works Design Engineer where you will be joining a dynamic, collaborative team and working on exciting projects across a variety of sectors including but not limited to civil engineering, basement construction, data, life sciences commercial, marine, rail. You will be:
* Responsible for the preparation and review of detailed technical designs for temporary works (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments and design certificates
* Proposing and/or developing value engineered alternative solutions (during tender or construction phases)
* Liaising with Temporary Works Coordinators, Project Teams, Subcontractors, Technical Office Team and Suppliers
* Developing, instigating and maintaining processes, procedures and standards for technical design
Joining an international team who are collaboratively breaking new ground by transforming temporary works designs you will be a strong decision maker with logical methodology.
* Do you have 5+ years of experience as a Civil Structural Design Engineer?
* Are you currently or aspiring to be a Chartered Engineer?
* Have you gained experience working with Temporary Works?, Completed a third level structural, civil or design engineering qualification
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in design engineering
* A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Geotech, Concrete, Steel, Construction or Temporary Works Design Engineering
