Assistant Consultant and Consultant Roles
Oxford with hybrid options available (2-3 days minimum office based).
37.5 hours per week, flexible working options considered.
Salary: £27,500 for Assistant Consultant; £28,500 and upwards for Consultant, depending on skills and experience.
We are the experts when it comes to air quality and environmental data analysis. The people we work with know, and trust, that we can help turn complex data into actions that solve environmental problems. You could be working with local councils, film companies, or supporting Governments around the world. Because of our expertise, more and more organisations who want a trusted partner when it comes to environmental data analysis and solutions are choosing Aether. Which is why we are growing, and why we need you!
As Assistant Consultant or Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a number of projects, developing your technical skills by working with leaders in our field. You will support a range of meaningful activities, such as helping to co-ordinate proposals, undertaking research, and contributing to developing our products and services. Initially, the work you will do involves desk-based research, data handling, and report writing, but progresses quickly to working directly with clients, delivering workshops (around the world) and using data for solutions.
It's a unique role, with the opportunity to progress your career and apply your technical expertise and professional approach to projects that have impact, so we can achieve our goal of a healthy planet for future generations.
We are looking for someone with the ability to handle complex technical data, with exceptional communication skills to write detailed reports and present to external audiences, someone who prides themselves on their attention to detail and enthusiasm to continually learn and develop. If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you.
Based in the heart of Oxford, we are a passionate team, with a shared value of supporting a healthy planet. We are a team of experts, with a very human approach – we share our knowledge and have created an exciting, flexible environment to work in. Our teams work across the UK and overseas and regularly get together for work or social events.
We live our values – we regularly undertake environmental community projects as a team, and our generous pension scheme (8% employer contribution) uses carbon neutral funds.
Feeling included and valued, being developed, and a focus on wellbeing. These are important to us here at Aether. We value our diverse teams and provide professional development and inclusive support in a number of ways – we would love to discuss these with you in more detail.
To apply for this role, please send your CV and covering letter to: recruit@aether-uk.com
To successfully carry out the role of Assistant Consultant, you will be required to occasionally travel throughout the UK and overseas.
If you believe you would add value to our team, but don’t meet all of the criteria we have laid out in this advert – we would still love to hear from you. We value core skills rather than credentials, and appreciate your unique transferable skills and ability to apply them.
Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants who require a Skilled Worker Visa for this role. You will be asked as part of our recruitment process for documentation confirming your eligibility to work in the UK.
