SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Based near Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY5 Actual Salary: £20,744 - £21,015 dependant on experience and qualifications (FTE £24,185-£24,501) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days Weeks: 39 weeks (Term Time Only, including 5 PD days) The post is ideal for someone wanting to start their career in SEN education. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within small classes with a class teacher, to support small groups or individuals to access bespoke learning programmes based on their developmental ages and abilities. The successful candidate need to have some experience working in a special needs environment, or educational setting. You will need to be confident and resilient in working one to one with students under teacher guidance. Further special needs training will be available for the right candidate.
