Please note, this role is based in the office 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs), with Fridays as a WFH day.
Job Summary
As a Client Acquisition Manager, you will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities for Akoni Resourcing, our newest division. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong sales skills, a deep understanding of the recruitment industry, and the ability to build and maintain robust relationships with potential clients. This role would be hybrid and might involve some travel abroad due to our partnership links with Dubai, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
* Identify and target potential clients across various industries to broaden the consultancy’s client base.
* Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and secure new business.
* Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
Lead Generation and Outreach:
* Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
* Use CRM systems and sales tools to track and manage leads and client interactions.
* Create and deliver engaging presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Client Engagement:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
* Understand clients’ recruitment needs and provide customized solutions.
* Negotiate terms and agreements to secure new client contracts.
Relationship Management:
* Maintain regular contact with potential clients throughout the acquisition process.
* Ensure a smooth transition from client acquisition to onboarding, working with internal teams.
* Follow up post-acquisition to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues.
Market Analysis:
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to refine acquisition strategies.
* Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to drive business growth.
Performance Tracking:
* Track and report on key metrics, including leads generated, client conversion rates, and revenue growth.
* Analyze performance data and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with the recruitment team to align client needs with recruitment solutions.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to support client acquisition efforts through targeted campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills:
* 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably in the recruitment industry.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present and persuade effectively.
* Demonstrated success in sales and business development, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and performance data.
* Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
* Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and leads simultaneously.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
