This role would be ideal for someone wanting to develop their career within HR (may also be ideal for a HR Graduate or Placement Student). Your main administrative duties will include Onboarding new hires, maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employee communications, assisting in preparing employee relations templates for operations and administration to support the HR Advisory Team and the HR Director). The core hours of work will be 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with agile working benefits and family friendly working practices. Rewards: 25 days' paid annual leave plus bank holidays Contemporary Belfast based office Company pension scheme - Salary Exchange Life Assurance Agile working Health and Well-being platform inclusive of an Employee Assistance Programme Employee Development and Training Programme Free on-site parking The Role: Onboarding of new hires (including Right to Work/ Security Checks, Offer letters, Contracts of Employment) Assisting the operations team and ensuring new hires and transitioning team members receive the right onboarding information at the right time (positively contributing to their future success) Verifying Right to Work in UK and Ireland Ensuring data is captured to comply with audits Routinely validate new hire data for accuracy and monitor onboarding dashboard while raising awareness to hires that have outstanding tasks to complete Administration of offboarding, recording of sickness absence and maternity, monitoring HR email inbox and responding to queries from managers and employees. Organising training sessions - sending out invites, booking venues and arranging catering. Maintaining and updating employee records and issuing contractual amendments, as necessary. Notetaking at meetings The Person: Minimum one year's Human Resource experience preferred Proven ability to quickly learn new software applications with minimal training required. Strong multi-tasking skills (ability to effectively manage multiple project components at the same time while meeting tight deadlines) required. Proven ability to work well with a wide range of people and personalities Strong written and verbal skills, along with strong multi-tasking skills - will be managing multiple processes Able to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment Must have effective communication skills (verbal and written) Comfortable with Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint and Word, basic to intermediate with Excel The Mount Charles Group is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
