Job Opportunity: HGV Class 1 Drivers in Felixstowe Ports
Eddie Stobart is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team in Felixstowe Ports. The role involves completing deliveries and collections for our customers, which may include manual handling, drop and swaps, and general trunking.
Shift and Salary
Shift: Monday-Friday night shifts (17:00 or 18:00)
Salary: £13.40 basic per hour, plus £15 meal allowance per day, and £50 weekly tier payment, totaling an equivalent basic salary of £40,812 per annum.
Stobart will also provide CPC renewal training once employed.
Qualifications
* Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence with at least 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
* No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
* Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
* Knowledge of Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
* Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects.
* Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
