The role…
This role is an opportunity for a strong graduate with at least 2 years of professional experience to join a fun, fast-paced and innovative team. You will be part of an international research team analysing the impact of technology and sustainability trends on Environment, Health, Safety and Quality Functions within organizations. These markets are undergoing transformational changes under the influence of technology trends such as the Internet of Things and AI, You will establish relationships across the industry, work on all aspects of market research and contribute to consulting projects. Typical clients are executives in multi-billion revenue corporates, professional services firms, technology firms and investors.
For this role we are considering applications in the region of £42,000 - £48,000 (dependent on experience) with a very competitive bonus, paid quarterly.
Our analysts benefit from our structured ‘Analyst Training Framework’ which offers 24-months of tailored learning which will equip high performers to progress to more senior analyst positions at Verdantix.
What you’ll be doing…
* Conducting research projects based on the established portfolio of Verdantix methodologies.
* Undertaking research interviews with senior managers and executives at technology vendors.
* Building quantitative models to size and forecast technology markets.
* Efficiently writing high-quality research documents in English.
* Learning how to produce short reports on technology vendors based on technology briefings.
* Working on consulting projects relating to EHS and Quality technology including industrial quality management software, industrial wearables, market entry, EHS and Quality software selection, strategy consulting.
* Support sales colleagues on commercial opportunities.
* Attending and speaking at Verdantix events and industry conferences.
* Develop trusting relationships with senior industry decision makers.
What we’re looking for…
* Minimum of undergraduate degree with a preference for top-tier universities. Relevant degrees or a background in fields such as Manufacturing and Quality Management, Business Administration, Economics, Mechanical Engineering are also of particular interest.
* Ideal candidates will have upwards of 2 years’ experience, ideally gained at a corporate level, tech research firm or worked in relevant technology focused roles such as product managers or solution architects.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and come up with new ideas.
* Proven ability to write reports quickly and proficiently for a business audience.
* Quantitative skills and knowledge of Excel to manipulate large data sets and apply basic mathematical concepts.
* Perfect written English and fluent spoken English.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* Proven ability to present to workshops composed of senior managers and industry conferences.
* Exceptional interpersonal communication and team collaboration skills.
