?? Deliver engaging, student-centered tuition tailored to the emotional and cognitive needs of each learner. ?? Build trust and create a safe learning environment where students feel supported and empowered. ?? Work closely with schools, social workers, and therapists to create holistic support plans. ?? Implement therapeutic strategies such as emotion coaching, restorative approaches, and low-arousal techniques to aid regulation and engagement. ?? Track progress and set achievable, meaningful learning goals.
Ideal Candidate:
?? QTS / QTLS-qualified teachers, therapeutic educators, OR experienced tutors with a background in working with SEMH, trauma, or SEND. ?? Experience using attachment-aware and trauma-informed approaches to teaching. ?? Comfortable working outside traditional classroom settings (home tuition, alternative provisions, or outreach work). ?? A strong understanding of therapeutic education, child psychology, and emotional regulation techniques .
