Painter & Decorator £33,548 per annum Bedfordshire Permanent,Full Time Are you an experienced Painter & Decorator with a background in housing? Join our Responsive Internal Repairs Team (IRT) where you'll help to improve the homes of our customers by carrying out essential painting, decorating, and mould treatment tasks. What youll be doing Deliver high-quality painting, decorating, and damp & mould treatment for residential properties. Collaborate with other trades to ensure efficient, timely completion of projects. Manage materials - measuring, ordering, and replenishing as needed. Work closely with managers to meet deadlines and maintain cost-efficiency. Keep your company vehicle clean, well-maintained, and stocked with the essentials. Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, promoting our core values. Follow strict Health & Safety guidelines and adhere to company policies. Maintain and operate company equipment (mobile phone, tablet, People Safe Device). Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to keep skills up-to-date. What were looking for Experience in preparing and protecting surfaces for decoration. NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating, or relevant time-served experience. Skilled in applying paint systems by brush, roller, and airless spray. Experience applying wall and ceiling hangings. Ability to effectively apply mould treatment solutions. Knowledge of erecting and dismantling access equipment. Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude. IT literate, able to use smartphones/tablets for work purposes. Full UK drivers licence. DBS clearance required.
