Location: Ideally based in the South, with travel to various Hub Locations Across the UKContract Type: Timesheet-Based (with up to full-time hours available)Pay: £13.38 + £1.62 equivalent Holiday Pay / £14.28 + £1.72 equivalent Holiday Pay (paid when taken), dependent on experience and existing banding. + Mileage when travelling.About the RoleWe're looking for enthusiastic and experienced trainers to deliver CPI Safety Intervention training to our teams across the country. As a CPI Trainer, you will be part of our national training team, helping to embed best practice in behaviour support and safety intervention techniques to ensure the highest standards of care.CPI Safety Intervention™ training, formerly known as MAPA®, equips staff with skills to prevent, de-escalate, and intervene in crisis situations, focusing on both non-restrictive and restrictive interventions, and is designed for professionals in environments requiring physical intervention techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver CPI Safety Intervention training in line with CPI standards and internal policyMaintain up-to-date CPI certification (train-the-trainer)Travel to designated hubs and branches to facilitate training sessions (regular travel and overnight stays required)Promote positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies in all sessionsComplete training documentation and ensure accurate records are maintainedLiaise with local managers to coordinate training dates and ensure staffing needs are metSupport new CPI instructors through peer support and co-delivery where requiredRequirementsWillingness to obtain Safety Intervention Instructor certificationExperience in delivering training, ideally in a healthcare or social care settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed careAbility to travel and stay overnight where necessaryDesirableExperience supporting individuals with complex needs or challenging behavioursPrevious involvement in training design or quality assuranceFamiliarity with Nurseplus values and training strategyTPBN1_UKTJ
