As a part of the global inside sales team, the Inside Sales Engineer is the main point of contact for customers and distributors across our international sales channels for all LAND products. Responsible for enquiries from initial contact to order acceptance and technical/sales support, the Inside Sales Engineer works closely with multiple departments to provide an outstanding customer experience and satisfy the business operational needs. Providing pro-active support to the sales channels on a range of activities and ensuring that service levels are consistently met in a productive and financially responsible manner. This position also presents the opportunity to own and develop key business processes where necessary.,
* Main tasks and responsibilities are centralized around direct contact with customers, distribution partners and the external Sales teams.
* Manage the quoting process from inquiry to order acceptance using our global CRM system.
* Source and generate new sales opportunities and orders through inbound lead consulting and outbound prospecting activities.
* Support the Regional Sales Teams in developing relationships with Channel Partners and End Customers.
* Responsible for the global distribution of demonstration stock to continuously support the global Sales networks.
* Act as the day-to-day contact for all Sales Channels within a defined region, Additionally, providing technical and general office assistance to the wider LAND business unit as needed.
* Provide quotations and application consultancy.
* Proactively manage the pipeline and chase opportunities.
* Collaborate with sales channels to gather Point of Sale data and record customer feedback (VOC).
* Work alongside the Regional Sales Team/Inside Sales Manager to identify channel partner training needs and facilitate courses as required.
* Ensure end customers receive support from our Channel Partners, establishing a collaborative and customer-first relationship.
Relevant technical qualification (eg A'Level/Diploma) in suitable discipline, Physics or Engineering desired but equivalent experience considered in lieu.
* Experience in Customer Service / Sales environment.
* Strong commercial/business acumen.
* Good problem-solving skills
