The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Recruiting team is seeking a talented, customer-focused Recruiting Coordinator to join our global recruiting organization supporting AWS. As a Recruitment Coordinator, you are pivotal in ensuring we continue to move the recruitment process forward; deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as a point of contact for Hiring Managers, Recruiters, and Candidates to ensure a seamless process. You will be the face of the organization and often the glue that ensures our process is sustainable and efficient.
Responsibilities
1. Schedule interviews and work directly with candidates and hiring managers.
2. Arrange travel and accommodation for outstation candidates, both domestic and international.
3. Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email.
4. Coordinate onsite written assessments for the candidates.
5. Track recruiting activities and provide weekly reporting on candidate status.
6. Identify opportunities to improve candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
7. Educate clients on the recruiting process and the roles involved in the process.
8. Vendor Engagement - Manage the vendors/agencies in updating on the recruitment activities and their candidates’ status on a regular basis.
9. Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.
10. Update candidate records in the recruiting system – HIRE.
11. Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments which assess candidates’ skills.
12. Arrange for candidate reimbursements especially for the candidates traveling overseas and also for the domestic candidates when necessary.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 1+ years of recruiting, coordination, administration, logistics, HR or equivalent experience.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Experience with basic web-based tools and products like Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree or diploma in HR or any related field.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, quickly changing or international environment.
* Experience with technical tracking systems/software (like ATS).
