ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Food Technology Teacher your responsibilities will be: Teach Food Technology to students across various year groups (11-18). Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Food Technology. Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes both practical and theoretical knowledge in Food Technology. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to support their development in Food Technology. Ensure the Food Technology department maintains high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation in the kitchen and classrooms. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum and share best practices. Provide additional support for students who need it, ensuring they excel in Food Technology. Participate in extracurricular activities related to Food Technology, such as school events, cooking clubs, or competitions. Stay up to date with current trends and developments in Food Technology to ensure the curriculum remains relevant Ideal Food Technology Teacher: A passionate Food Technology Teacher who is committed to high-quality teaching and learning.
