Description Job Description Are you passionate about building capability? We are looking for an experienced learning and development professional to join our People Services Team. You will work in an operational environment leading on learning and development across the organisation. You will have a key role in leading the design and delivery of our Scottish Tax Education Programme (STEP), leading a team of training champions. You will join a team that has a reputation for delivering excellence, building the capability of our people, and delivering against the Corporate Plan and People Strategy priorities. Responsibilities Lead, design, facilitate, deliver and evaluate STEP, coordinating planning and delivery of the modules on a rolling timetable Lead team of Training Champions and subject matter experts to support delivery of the programme and quality assure learning content, Collaborate with tax design leads and programme management office to lead on STEP design for new devolved taxes Provide budget management support for L&D budget and lead on associated procurement(s) Lead on the continuous improvement and evaluation of Revenue Scotland's induction programme Responsible for day-to-day management of talent/learning programmes, including advising managers and coaching and developing staff. Planning, facilitating and delivering learning events and workshops to support delivery of our People Strategy and build our data and digital literacy Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers Work with colleagues to embed positive culture across Revenue Scotland Manage KPI reporting and coordination of our compliance with mandatory learning using our L&D tracker Support planning, design and delivery of our staff engagement work including our annual staff conference Responsibilities Qualifications Associate member of CIPD or willing to work towards this qualification Success Profile Success profiles are specific to each job and they include the mix of skills, experience and behaviours candidates will be assessed on. Our hybrid working principles require you to attend your assigned office, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh at least 2/3 days each month. Our hybrid approach supports a blend of home and workplace working, this should be agreed with the line manager to achieve the right balance between collaboration, in-person engagement and flexibility.
