Finance Assistant required to join a well-established Public Sector organisation based on the Wirral. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Finance Assistant to join their dynamic and growing finance function on a full-time, temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:
1. Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger
2. Arranging invoice payments
3. Checking and inputting invoices into system
4. Reconciling statements
5. Handling any queries
6. Set up of payment runs
7. Handling of petty cash
8. Ad-hoc daily tasks
Required Skills and Experience of the Finance Assistant:
1. Recent finance experience
2. Strong IT skills including advanced Excel
3. Good communication skills both verbal and written
