CAD Drafter
Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid working)

Role Overview:
The CAD Drafter will support the execution of critical strategic projects within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) and will complete engineering activities in line with the project scope.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…
* Following the defined project and engineering governance and reporting framework
* Supporting design reviews and providing subject matter expertise
* Producing marked-up prints with agreed changes from design reviews
* Performing updates to/create new 3D models and drawings in line with project scope and timelines
* Raising technical ideas, sharing improvement suggestions and escalating concerns to project technical lead
* Supporting in ensuring quality of the 3D models, 2D drawings and PDM records
* Supporting collaboration with CAD contractors
Your previous experience is likely to include…
* A working knowledge of machining, casting and forging standards/best practice
* A working understanding of ISO GPS
* Use of Autodesk Inventor and Vault or Creo and Windchill (3D modelling and 2D drawing)
* Product design
* Working knowledge of Steam systems, products and applications

* Be self-motivated, adaptable, diligent, dependable and well organised
