Senior Therapeutic Residential Support Worker/Team Leader

£33,280 + an additional £55 per sleep-in
I am looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to offer unparalleled residential care for children and young people with complex needs. This is a fantastic new residential home for children and young people that strive to create a warm, safe and nurturing home environment.
In this role, Senior Support Workers will:
* Be responsible for providing day-to-day care for children and young people
* Work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring that care teams are maintaining their therapeutic approach and providing direct work with the children
* Lead shifts and manage a staff team
* Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters
* Ensure the home is kept to a good standard, including cooking and cleaning, and safeguarding welfare at all times
* Support the business, clinical, and social development of the service
To be successful in the role, you will need:
* NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
* Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours
* Experience of leading shifts
* Experience of supervising care staff
* The ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends, and statutory holidays
* A full UK Manual driving licence
