JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to manage and coordinate the fulfilment of the organization's contract requirements. Providing leadership, management, and development of a defined contract, ensuring operational and financial commitments are met and exceeded.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reviews, interprets and analyses contract and service agreements to ensure the terms comply with legal, guidelines, contracting principles, cost constraints as well as with corporate and client procedures.
2. Responds to customer inquiries pertaining to modifications of existing contracts and to facilitate all phases of contract management.
3. Prepares and evaluates proposals for new or continuation of existing contracts and makes award recommendations.
4. Negotiates and interprets contracts, and monitors fulfilment of contractual obligations.
5. Analyses amendments to existing contracts or requests for extensions. Provides recommendations of approval or alternation solutions to senior management.
6. Interfaces with the Accounting Department on invoicing and insurance issues.
7. Accountable for administration and execution of Supplier Performance Management Program.
8. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
2. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
3. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labour, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
4. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
5. Leads by example and models behaviours that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university required.
2. Minimum of four years of related experience and/or training.
3. Working experience with business law, contracting principles and practices, and general and industry specific regulatory and compliance requirements.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES
1. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
3. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
