5 out of 7 days - weekend rotation
Duties:
* Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
* Oversee and assist kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
* Ensure proper portion control and presentation of dishes
* Monitor food quality and taste for consistency
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
* Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
* Collaborate with the chef to develop new menu items
* Train new kitchen staff members
Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
* Ability to work well in a team environment
