HENDY AREA £12.00 per HOUR 6 hours per week
A gentleman late fifties requires the support of a Personal Assistant approx. twice a week to assist with showering. Early mornings from 7.30am -8.30am.
Also requires assistance with some house chores. i.e hoovering, washing and generally tidying around the home.
To build up the gentleman’s confidence, self esteem, and encouragement on choice of what activities he would like to participate in and places he would like to visit.
The Client can mobilise independently and he is able to use the stair lift independently to access the first floor of the property.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Providing for the personal care needs of the employer, such as showering
Enabling the employer to interact socially in their community
Providing support to the employer whilst shopping and attending activities of interest
Supporting the employer to develop independent living skills
To provide companionship in the employer’s home, including engaging in conversation with the employer and providing them with social interaction
Ensuring the employer’s safety at all times during your working hours
To carry out any other reasonable tasks that are requested by the employer during your working hours
To ensure compliance with Data Protection Act.

1. Ability to develop supportive and caring relationship with employer.
2. To undertake all duties in a friendly and helpful manner.

Able to develop long-term supportive and consistent relationships with employers.
Be prepared to undergo training in order to best meet the employers need.
