About the Division - Mears Key Worker houses key Government staff by sourcing and maintaining suitable rental properties through the private rental market. The In Tenancy Team coordinate maintenance and repairs for properties in liaison with Lettings Agents, Landlords and Occupants and support our Service Users with other tenancy related queries, during the duration of their occupancy. About the Role This position will be reporting to the Team Leader and be supporting the In Tenancy team. This is a really varied position with a huge amount to offer. You will be supporting the team with various administrative duties whilst delivering an exceptional level of customer service. Key Responsibilities: Arranging property inspections for landlords Arranging and monitoring vacant property checks. Arranging and monitoring works required to sustain tenancies, gardening etc Processing invoices. Maintaining accurate records of activities and communication Work with internal departments to ensure the best outcome for the customer Contribute to team meetings with ideas, suggestions or recommendations which assist in reviewing working practices and service standards, leading to continued improvement in team performance. Undertake ad hoc projects and provide support and cover for colleagues and other administrator roles within Mears Housing Management Take personal responsibility for developing own skills, knowledge and understanding of services, processes, technology and community issues. Observe health and safety legislation, The Data Protection Act and Mears Ltd policies on Equal Opportunities and Confidentiality in the execution of duties (training will be provided). Role Criteria Customer Service experience Solid database use and skills in Microsoft office packages. Excel, Word, Email. Great communication skills both externally and within the Team. Customer focused, problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
