Elevation HR are delighted to be working on behalf of one of our Sheffield based professional services clients to identify a strong Interim HR Advisor to join their HR team. The role is to cover maternity for a period of 12 months in the first instance. The role offers hybrid working 50/50 home/office, based in Sheffield with occasional travel to other UK offices. Benefits include: Flexible, hybrid working policy Bonus scheme 25 days holiday statutory holidays Holiday exchange scheme Private medical insurance Operating as part of the UK HR team and reporting into a Snr HRBP, this role is extremely varied and will involve: Providing comprehensive HR support for the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle, with a key emphasis on employee relations and support Supporting on ER, grievance disciplinaries, performance management, absence management, flexible working requests, maternity/paternity leave Working closely with key internal stakeholders, coaching and mentoring managers across a wide range of people issues, including performance management, succession planning etc Driving forward continuous improvement, updating policies and procedures as well as undertaking cyclical HR activities such as reward and performance reviews The ideal candidate will have: Strong track record and time served in a generalist HR experience, particular employee relations and performance management, in order to be able to advise and guide on a range of employment issues Strong level of employment law and legislative knowledge The ability to build solid relationships, with confident and articulate communication skills at all level of stakeholder Excellent coaching and influencing skills, being able to articulate best practice HR successfully We’re ideally looking for someone who’s immediately available however notice periods will be considered.
