The Deputy Head of Workforce Transformation and Digital Clinical System (DCS) Workforce Lead will be responsible for playing a key role in the implementation of the New Hospital Programme (NHP) and new DCS across Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the workforce changes deliver the expected benefits, whilst consulting and engaging with the affected staff during the transition of both major projects. The postholder will recommend courses of action on complex, specialist issues and determine the way forward.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
For the NHP, the post holder will work closely with the Head of Workforce Transformation for the NHP, the wider NHP team, the senior People and OD teams, and the HR Business Partner team to support the delivery of the NHP strategy. It is expected that the post holder will be directly involved in Divisional conversations, ensuring that workforce is a key consideration in the design and development of new clinical services, encouraging Divisions to think of innovative ways to develop new skills and capabilities to service new delivery models.
For the DCS, the role will also be instrumental in the pre-implementation communication activities directed to all staff, with a particular focus on incorporating and reflecting the voice of the workforce in the communications activities. There will be a responsibility to enable the development of change management skills across our workforce so that our supervisory and managerial staff support their teams through these changes.

Qualifications
* MCIPD qualified or equivalent proven HR skills and experience
* A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Evidence of continuous professional development
Knowledge & Experience
* Significant experience of workforce engagement within the NHS
* Highly developed specialist knowledge of change management, achieved through significant experience within relevant roles
* Substantial recent management experience as generalist HR practitioner/business partner at a senior level
* Experience of leading on issues, under pressure – anticipating, analysing, and prioritising, ensuring that communication materials are prepared, and colleagues briefed
* Experience of successfully leading and delivering on HR/OD projects and designing/using interventions to facilitate and implement change
* Experience of managing a change team

* Demonstrable commitment to, and enthusiasm for facilitating change, cultural and behavioural change, service improvement, and team and individual development
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills for a range of audiences, including stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
