The Warehouse Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the warehouse team, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations. About You Key Responsibilities: Data Entry: Accurately input and update warehouse data, including inventory records, stock movements, and shipment details in the warehouse management system (WMS). Order Processing: Assist with the processing of orders, including picking lists, dispatch paperwork, and liaising with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date inventory records, monitor stock levels, and assist with regular stock checks and audits. Documentation: Prepare and manage warehouse documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and shipping documents, ensuring all records are accurate and properly filed. Communication: Act as a point of contact between the warehouse team and other departments, such as customer service and logistics, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Reporting: Generate regular reports on stock levels, order status, and warehouse performance, presenting data to the Warehouse Manager and other stakeholders as needed. Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities are compliant with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Supplier Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers and carriers regarding deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is correct and any discrepancies are resolved promptly. Support: Provide administrative support for warehouse projects, process improvements, and other initiatives as required. Customer Service: Handle customer queries related to deliveries, stock availability, and other warehouse-related matters, ensuring a high level of service is maintained. Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse administration or similar role is highly desirable. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Good knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Education and Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are preferred, particularly in Maths and English. Any additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or administration are advantageous.
