Job Description: Operations Supervisor at Focused Events
Location: UK & Europe
Focused Events is a well-established event management company, operating in the motorcycle industry for over 25 years. We are a recognised leader in organising motorcycle-based activities for manufacturers, dealers, press, and the general public across the UK and Europe. Our events span across race circuits, on-road, and off-road activities, making us a key player in the motorcycle events sector.
The Operations Supervisor role is critical to our operations, and you will be a key member of our dynamic team, working across both the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and deliver events to the highest standards, ensuring safety is a top priority.
* Lead teams during events, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.

* Foster a positive and motivational work environment, promoting professionalism and excellent customer care.
* Ensure all staff follow established procedures and comply with statutory regulations.
* Communicate effectively with the Managing Director and keep team morale high.
* Contribute new ideas to improve event delivery, from concept through to implementation.
* Evaluate past events and plan improvements for future events.
* Liaise with both external and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless event execution.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A versatile skill set is essential, including some experience in race circuit events (either as a participant or through work experience). Road riding skills are also important, as you will regularly interact with clients and manufacturers.
* A full motorcycle and car licence is a requirement.
* Strong event planning and customer service skills.
* Willingness to learn and adhere to procedures for delivering race circuit events, even if you lack previous race circuit knowledge.
* Innovative and creative with excellent PC skills.
* Ability to perform under pressure and work in a target-oriented environment.
* Strong team motivation and leadership skills.
* Ability to remain calm and manage difficult situations effectively.
* Strong organisational skills and a keen sense of pride in your work.
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Ideal Candidate:
* Highly motivated with a strong sense of teamwork and goal-setting.
* Understand that events are not a 9 to 5, or Monday to Friday. They require an acceptance of being in a "lifestyle role"!
* Driven to achieve results and deliver the company’s services professionally and on time.
* Hands-on with a "can-do" attitude and a passion for making things happen.
* Comfortable with the demands of the role, including travel to various UK and European locations for events.
Additional Information:
* Weekend work will be required at various UK and European locations.
* All travel, hotel, and food costs will be covered.
