We are looking for a talented and creative Electrical Designer to be part of our forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring that each project adheres to top-tier standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation. This role demands a solid grasp of electrical engineering concepts and expertise with industry-standard design software and tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Design intricate electrical schematics and layouts using CAD tools.
* Collaborate with Electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
* Lead system designs for various applications while ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
* Produce and manage documentation for all designs, including detailed reports and technical specifications.
* Attend project meetings, providing design updates and troubleshooting technical challenges as needed.
* Develop conceptual designs, outline schemes, technical reports, and sketch layouts.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and the broader design team to meet project requirements.
* Ensure all client needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Expertise in CAD software for detailed schematic creation.
* Solid experience in electrical design, with exposure to systems such as power supplies, PV/EVC, lighting, and alarms.
* Strong knowledge of IET Regulations, Building Regulations, BREEAM, and sustainable design methods.
* Proficiency with electrical engineering software (e.g., Amtech/Trimble, Relux).
* Familiarity with REVIT software is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to lead, influence, and negotiate effectively.
* Self-driven and capable of making independent decisions.
