Job Role: Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Coventry, West Midlands (accepting applications from surrounding counties)
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 base salary (OTE GBP40,000 - GBP50,000)
Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00-16.30 + Company Vehicle/Fuel Card

The Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established National plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, established for over 50 years, is looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive, or Agricultural background. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside internal progression routes.
The Package:
* 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall)
* All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (GBP21-GBP24 per hour)
* A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours) Min (5 hours): Additional GBP5,460pa / Average (17 hours): Additional GBP18,564pa
* Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an additional 5 days annual leave per annum
* Laptop, Company Vehicle & Fuel Card
* Full training & development with a focus on internal progression: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager)

The Requirements:
* Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV, or Agricultural industry (essential)
* Experience with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
* Experience working on engines would be advantageous
* Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
* A desire to lead, manage, and grow a team of your own
* Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
* Full UK Drivers License
The Responsibilities:
* Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
* Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
* Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
* Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.
