Executive Assistant Telford Temporary – minimum of 2 weeks but likely to be longer Pay rate negotiable doe Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Our Telford based client are looking for an Executive Assistant to start immediately and provide temporary comprehensive administration support to the organisation’s senior management team. It is a busy and varied role so it will require someone who is confident to take decisions and can use their own initiative as well as follow instructions closely. The company is based in a nice location and genuinely this should be a rewarding and interesting role. It is anticipated that the Executive Assistant will be required for a minimum of 2 weeks but there is a likelihood that it could be longer. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: To support and assist the Chief Executive by carrying out secretarial and administrative duties including typing, proofreading, filing, preparing and editing correspondence, communications, creating PowerPoint presentations etc Arranging meetings, setting up meeting rooms, coordinating catering, taking minutes at meetings To act as the first point of contact for the Chief Executive with regards enquiries and messages To manage the diary of the Chief Executive arranging appointments and reminding the Chief Executive of important tasks and deadlines To support the Chief Executive and Chairman with email inbox and correspondence management Organising corporate lunches; liaising with the appropriate team for menu’s, table plans, place cards and collating food orders with dietary requirements To arrange hospitality and visit itineraries for guests, as directed by the Chief Executive Typing, compiling and preparing reports/presentations, and correspondence Managing filing systems, collating and filing expenses and invoices Support the Senior Management Team in various administrative tasks as required Skills and Experience The ideal candidate for this role will have worked in a similar Executive Assistant, PA, Senior Administrator, Senior Secretary position previously You must have experience of providing support to senior managers, excellent organisational, interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and external contacts You should have a flexible approach to work and ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously to tight deadlines You will also have competent ITC skills including producing Power Point Presentations Due to the company location and occasional need to visit other sites you must have a full driving licence and access to own vehicle You must be available to start immediately The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
