Axcis Education are working with an "Outstanding" primary school in Newquay. The selected candidate will be working as part of an energetic team focusing on nurturing young students with additional needs on their academic journey.
Responsibilities:
1. Establish positive and secure relationships with students and help develop their trust and belief, promoting their self-esteem.
2. Develop knowledge and understanding of the specific academic, physical, and emotional/behavioural/medical needs of the children and respond to them effectively.
3. Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with all individuals, including pupils, colleagues, and parents.
4. Encourage all students to learn and motivate them to reach their maximum potential.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Have UK experience working with vulnerable adults or children with SEND.
2. Be committed to safeguarding.
