Our client based in Hartlepool is looking to recruit an experienced and proactive Quality and Compliance Manager to join their electronics manufacturing business.
Main duties of the role will include:
1. Prepare documents of device specification and reliability reports.
2. Review sub-con failure analysis and prepare failure analysis reports.
3. Recommend alternative devices to customers and distributors for new design and replacement.
4. Support customers and distributors on technical and application enquiries.
5. Handle customer and distributor quality complaints.
6. Communicate with the manufacturing facility on customer technical enquiries and quality complaints.
7. Provide technical information and training to customers and distributors.
8. Respond to customers on environmental and compliance queries such as:
* RoHS
* REACh
* POPs
* TSCA_PBT
* California Prop65
* Conflict Minerals (CMRT_EMRT)
* US-PFAS
* EU-PFAS
* Precious metals
* REE
* China RoHS
* GDPR
* Iron Steel Russia Sanctions
* Long-term EU Declarations
1. Material declaration sheets and paperwork and coordinating with subcontractors on this.
2. Compliance Certificates:
* VDE Certifications
* UL Recognised product
* CE
1. Compliance Data Sheets:
* Coordinate between subcontractors and internal technicians.
* Update data sheets as required.
2. Support with ESG.
3. General support:
* Provide distributors with info on products.
* Website updates – add/remove distributors, update data sheets, and add new parts.
* Assist with the introduction of new parts.
