Information Security Manager - Central London - Fast-Scaling FinTech firm
Robert Half have partnered with a dynamic and innovative Fintech company dedicated to making finance available to all. They are seeking a highly motivated individual to join their IT team and play a crucial role in supporting the company to achieve its strategic goals.
One of the first things we need our Info Security Manager to get stuck into is getting us ready to obtain the ISO27001 certification.
Main duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Ensure that Company data is held securely and is protected from unauthorised access, misuse or intentional damage.
2. Develop a Data Security strategy that works within the pillars created by the Data Governance Manager to create principles of data security.
3. Work closely with the Data Governance Manager to ensure data integrity and availability.
4. Ensure data is consistently encrypted or protected as it moves through the business or externally.
5. Develop solutions and structures to ensure tasks can be performed across the data estate.
6. Manage and mitigate threats to the data security, including intentional damage, deletion, unavailability, hacking and unauthorised disclosure.
7. Have good use of encryption and masking.
8. Manage application misuse where data can be exposed.
9. Work with the IT department to ensure devices are up to date and patched.
10. Develop a data map alongside the Data Governance Manager.
11. Develop an incident management plan.
Person Specification:
Experience:
12. Proven relevant experience in data security management.
13. Knowledge of data security principles and best practices.
14. Experience in Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Security
15. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategies.
17. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with different levels of management.
Location - Central London Office (Hybrid Working)
Salary - £70-80k (depending on experience) + Discretionary Bonus & Benefits
