What will this role of Railway Team Member entail? As a Railway team member you’ll keep the safety of the train and its passengers at the forefront of your attention at all times, and ensure we are constantly delivering a fantastic customer service to our guests. You’ll perform all daily pre-opening safety inspections on the railway and highlight to the supervisor or team leader any equipment that needs repair, replacing or adjusting. Key Duties will include; Ensure that all Railway rules and safety regulations are adhered to at all times. To provide a Guest focused service at all times ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of the brand. Perform all daily pre-opening safety inspections on the Railway. Driving of diesel Locomotive. When driving you are solely responsible for the safety of the train and passengers. Signalman & Guard Duties. Take part in Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly inspection and maintenance for the Railway. What will I need to be considered for this Railway Team Member vacancy? Full UK driving licence You must be a minimum age of 21 to fulfil all roles of Railway Team Member Must be able to react quickly and appropriately under pressure in emergency situations and maintain professionalism Effective communication skills Passionate about delivering excellent customer service Although not essential, experience of working with diesel and/or steam locomotive engines would be highly advantageous.
